Artist Statement – FotoGraaGHanneke

My work explores the space where observation, imagination and technology meet. Starting from photography, I build layered visual narratives using digital collage, AI-assisted imagery, 3D creation and augmented reality.

I am drawn to quiet moments and overlooked details that reveal something deeper about our human experience. Through the transformation of photographic elements into new visual worlds, I create images that move between reality and interpretation.

Themes of resilience, transformation and connection often appear in my work. I am interested in how fragility and strength can coexist, and how beauty can emerge from complexity.

By combining traditional photographic sensibilities with emerging technologies, I aim to create visual stories that invite reflection and open space for personal interpretation.
